BIS Seeks Industry Placements For Civil Servants

Following his own recent stint on work experience, Business and Enterprise Minister, Mark Prisk is looking for companies willing to offer for short term placements for civil servants in the Enterprise Directorate at BIS. This initiative is focused on helping key staff better understand the issues that small and medium-sized businesses face. It will involve the civil servants spending 2 or 3 days in the business either shadowing a member of staff or learning about the regulatory issues that the company has to deal with.
